Mechanical Process Engineer (Nuclear)

Full-time or Part-time - Permanent
Location:
North East, North West (Preston, Salford Quays)

Our Client has a requirement for a role, who will be required to work on a contract basis in North East or North West of England

Role Purpose: To fulfill the role of a Mechanical Process Engineer (Nuclear) within our client's team, contributing to projects in the nuclear sector.

Job Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop mechanical engineering deliverables supporting nuclear sector projects.
  • Ensure technical integration of engineering deliverables with relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Foster client relationships while delivering high-quality project outcomes.
  • Manage Mechanical Engineering involvement in small to medium-size projects.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

  • Experience in the nuclear sector within a highly regulated environment.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Chartered (or working towards Chartership) by an institution accredited by the Engineering Council.
  • Competency in concept/front-end design, detailed design, and package management.
  • Proficiency in developing equipment datasheets and specifications.
